Delete Your Beeledger Account

You can delete your Beeledger account at any time. There are two ways to do it, and both have the same effect.
Delete it yourself, from the app
This is the fastest route and it takes effect immediately.
- Open Beeledger
- Go to Settings, then My Account
- Choose Delete account
- Confirm
You can do the same from the web app at app.beeledger.co under Settings.
Or ask us to do it
If you no longer have access to the app or you would rather we handled it, email [email protected] from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We will confirm once it is done, normally within 30 days and usually much sooner.
Write from the address the account uses. We cannot delete an account on the word of someone we cannot verify, because doing so would let anyone delete anyone else’s records.
What gets deleted
Immediately and permanently:
- Your sign-in identity, including your password and any Google sign-in link. You will not be able to sign in again, and the account cannot be restored
- Your name, email address, language and measurement preferences, and your profile details
- Your notification settings, your push notification registrations and the record of which devices you used
What stays, and why
The records your team owns stay with your team. Your apiaries, hives, queens, inspections, voice recordings, photos, video, notes and tasks are not deleted.
Beeledger is built for teams. The history of a hive is the team’s working record, and in most cases it is the only record that exists. Deleting it because one member left would destroy the work of everyone else who kept that hive, including the parts they entered themselves.
What we do remove is the link between those records and you. After deletion, anything you entered is shown as created by a deleted member. Your name is no longer attached to it, and the records can no longer be traced back to you through your account.
If you are the only member of your team, those records stay in the same state: present but no longer linked to any identity. If you want them destroyed as well, say so in your email and we will delete them too.
Deleting your recordings first
If you would rather remove specific recordings, photos or inspections before deleting your account, delete them in the app first. Once the account is gone we can no longer tell which records were yours.
